Be a Maimonides Malach!"Malach" mean Angel -- and that is what we call our school's volunteers! This school year (5770), many community members have stepped forward to volunteer for our school. We are so happy to have volunteers teaching, tutoring, sharing technical and carpentry skills, minding recess and lunch, and providing support to teachers. We still have many needs! Please consider volunteering a little of your time -- even an hour a month will help. The following lists our current volunteer needs, but we will happily take your suggestions for new ideas: • Recess Volunteer - any day at 12:00 noon (esp. Thursday & Friday) • Office assistance - any day (esp. Friday mornings) • After-school programs - we welcome your ideas • Hebrew Language reading tutors - any day, mornings especially needed
• Hebrew language conversation- mornings, to speak Hebrew with our older students
• Grounds Keeping
• Soup cook - we are serving soup once a week, and can always use more cooks!
