Art Class Mondays!

On Mondays grades 1-12 attend art classes with Mrs. Levin. In Art Class, students learn about the "Elements of Art" - shape, line, value, color, texture, form & space, with a curriculum that builds each year on the previous year's lessons. Special emphasis is placed on gaining new art skills in order to develop confidence in one's own abilities. Students work with a variety of 2-D media, including watercolor, graphite, pastels, acrylics & printmaking. We explore sculpture with paper construction, clay & papier mache. Everybody loves the "Collage-a-Ma-Jig" box, filled with saved throw-aways that we use to create original sculptures.
