Sukkot 2002 Trip to
Saratoga Apple

Maimonides students pose in front of the Saratoga Apple store after a enjoyable day of apple picking.
A special arrangement was made for a Sukkah to be built right at the side of the store, for us to enjoy our lunch and our apples.
It was such a novelty that the Saratogian Newspaper took pictures of it for their paper.

Students behind a large apple storage container. We went into the back and saw how apples are chilled in such wooden containers and stored for year-round sales.

Students on a great Hayride.

Devorah Simon and Rebbeca O'Brien enjoying their apple picking adventure.

Menucha Bindell showing off her catch.

Maimonides first graders taking a time out under the shade.

Some students enjoying their fresh catches.
Nothing beats a fresh apple just off the tree!
