| We made the diorama with Morah
Clara Simon, our Navi (Prophets) teacher. Outside the box in Hebrew it says
"May'as Kitah Gimel-Daled" which means From the 3rd and 4th Grade. On the
back of the scene (box) you can see the Jewish people waiting. In front the
Kohains are holding the Aron (Ark). |
Four Kohains carried the Aron
towards the Yarden so it would split and the Jews could cross over it into
Canaan which would become Israel. Miraculously the Aron (Ark) flew the
Kohains across - and the waters split for all Jews to walk through. Hard to
see him, but in the corner near the Jews, Yehoshuah (Joshua) was giving the
Kohains instructions. |
