| Our school is big on relevance. Living and
experiencing, hands-on and creative teaching, help bring abstract ideas to
the world of our students, in a way they can best appreciate and connect
with. Our Communal Learning Programs are no different. We endeavor to
provide interesting presentations on a wide variety of topics, in an
enjoyable and welcoming style. Some programs feature a professional
presenter with expertise in a specific field, other programs showcase local
talent and human-interest stories. If you have an idea for a future event,

MHDS - The Maimonides Hebrew Day School of the
Capital District has been
providing quality Jewish and General Education in the Capital Region, Albany
NY since 1980. It is a beneficiary of the United Jewish Federation of
Northeastern New York and has partnered with numerous area organizations and
institutions over the years. It's motto is "A Beautiful Blend - Torah and Worldly Experience" following its namesake, Moses Maimonides (the Rambam) the
great scholar, codifier, physician and philosopher. |
