Brachos BEE - 5764
Coming Soon! Friday Feb 6!
a Maimonides Chodesh Project

In honor of Tu B'Shvat we are having a Brachos BEE contest in Grades 1-8.

Grades 1 & 2 will be tested on Birchos HaNehenin (Blessings of Enjoyment, Food and the like). This year, we are incorporating new topics of Grades 3-8 including a Halacha section about When, Why & How Brachos should be recited, as well as laws concerning Brachos on Thanks and for Fulfilling Mitzvos.

From past experience, the Brachos Bee has an effect on our students, with increased awareness and care in reciting Brachot properly.

There are 2 parts to this contest:

(1) Children will be tested on the Study-Booklet.

(2) Each grade will be assigned (see right) a topic in the laws of Brachot, which they will use to create a Centerpiece to be displayed at our Tu B'Shvat Breakfast on Friday, February 6th.

All participants will earn a prize.
