Tu B'shvat at the Capitol |

The MHDS upperclassmen, along with with Rabbi Rubin and Rabbi Simon, celebrated Tu B'shvat (the New Year for the Trees) at the NYS Capitol. We set up a beautiful array of fruits, and we met and took pictures with members of the Assembly. We also set up a display using a tall wine bottle (seen partially at far left) in order to add to the celebration! |

Shown Below is Assembly speaker Sheldon Silver deep in conversation with with Rabbi Rubin. Sheldon Silver joined us for the Tu B'shvat celebration at the Capitol. He enjoyed all the fruits that we brought as well as the wine bottle and tree display.
